Sunday Sanctuary #32 Inspired

Too tired this week to look back and see if I have used this word yet, but I feel I haven't.  I have had crazy busy week but it all started out with a wonderful opportunity to review the new E Book, I Am Not A DIY Diva by Melissa at the Inspired Room.  Loved it and felt connected to every word.  I thought I should put a plan into action and be creative with the new house we are moving into this December.  Yes, we only have a few weeks left in Southern Maryland!

Owning two houses means money will be tight so I am going to play with color in my accessories. I will try to create fun balances between what I have already and a few things new thrown in.  Here's a peak inside my new living room plan.  I have been inspired by browns, blues, and greens.

Some of these I have had and some of these will be unpacked at the new house.  The POP Of Color shop on Esty is my new favorite.  Katie did a wonderful job on these beauties.

Finally, on a heavy note...the other thing that I am trying to be inspired about and it is where I am digging deep, we need a little encouragement and I will even take prayers.  I need to get through this next week with someone in our family who has to have more testing done.  I know this is vague but inspiration and hope is all I can ask for.  Can you do that.  Pillows are fun but this is more pressing.  Of course I will find any excuse to sidetrack myself.

  1. Annie- I am saying a prayer for the person in your family that needs prayer. I work in a large hospital and I think the "not knowing" is the worst part of any illness/disease/medical problem. I pray that you get good news. Don't be afraid-we usually make things much worse in our mind than they really are.

I am newer to your blog so did not know you are moving. Where are you going? It IS scary, these days, to own two properties. I hope you can sell your house soon. xo Diana

  2. Annie I will add my prayers to the others for good news for you and your family member. May God give you strength and a sense of His peace at this difficult time. xx
