Peace on Earth... A New Take on Decorating

God love my parents they are always ahead of fashion and they take decorating chances.  Not to mention they love this time of year.

As I sit and write this post, the packers are here, I have holiday music playing and I am bringing closure to the house I have known for five years.  My kiddos things are all packed away in boxes and my friends are  all calling, stopping by, bringing food to feed us and generally saying good wishes.  The hubby is out to sea and will meet us at the new house by the end of the week.  My mother in law arrives Thursday to help us with car ride and away we go.

I thought it was appropriate to share the fun things my parents did to decorate their house.  It is the true meaning of Christmas for me.

Look UP on the balcony and see the wreath.  IT IS A PEACE SIGN!  How perfect for them.

Here is a close up.  My mom made it herself.  Sorry no tutorial here today!  See it all lit up now.

Things are a little hectic around here but I wanted to take this time to say PEACE ON EARTH TO YOU ALL!  May your holiday be all that you wish for.  Thanks for your support in this transition for me and my family.
